Fun read for an exciting time for couples but I take issue with comments that make someone who can't afford an open bar feel like they are losers and that their event won't measure up. Perhaps that's the problem - trying to MEASURE UP!Too many couples fall prey to the pressure to have the perfect wedding that comes with a PRICE.
It's rare to find a guide that's fun to read, beautiful to look at, and that actually provides useful guidance on the topic you're interested in. This book does all of that and does it well. It's easy enough to use as a quick reference, which came in handy in the months leading up to our wedding. And it helped my wife and I set our priorities, communicate, not take the whole thing too seriously. In the end our wedding was insanely good.
I am the bride and I bought this book for my groom. I think this will be his survival guide on the big day. The author definitely has a great sense of humor!
