This is a phenomenal book. A must- read for anyone, man or woman, interested in the medical field. Susan Latta brings to life the history of Women in Medicine that has the reader unable to put the book down. I will be passing my copy down to my daughters someday!
I loved this book! It is well researched, interesting and inspiring. I look forward to other books to inspire youths to achieve their best! I bought a copy to be placed in my grand daughters school library!
an excellent look into the lives of 21 women in the field of medicine, all pioneers in their own way, from the early days of fighting for a place, to cutting edge medical work today. All these women have good stories to tell and should be listened to.Some of the stories were hard to read. So I recommend this book for young adult and up. Bold, brave women doing what needed to be done.
