This is a beautiful, well made Bible. The margins on both sides of the page are great for note taking and the leather cover will last a lifetime. If this is what you're looking for you'll be very happy.If you are looking for a study Bible with extra large text, the word of God in red text, maps or other study materials, this is NOT the Bible for you. The picture with a quarter is for reference of text size.
It's a beautiful, very substantial Bible. I love the large area to the side of each page for writing notes; sometimes the leather strap comes loose and drags on the ground.....I need to figure out a good way to secure it. My old NIV Bible had a description and explanation at the beginning of each chapter. I miss that.
I don't know what happened with the person who gave it a one star but mine is beautiful! I checked for errors and there are none. Great quality. I'm sorry they had a problem with it - must have been a fluke. So excited to get it and get started journaling!
Hate to only give it one star, it's a great looking and feeling Bible, and I love the single column large print and the journaling space, BUT it's missing pages and pages are out of order. Can't have that. I just happen to be studying Romans right now, and that's where I found this out. WOW, just opened up Genesis and there are so many pages missing there too! Yikes! I wonder how many more got printed and put together like the one I got. I'll be returning it first thing Monday and will be looking for a different one--Definitely NOT a Zondervan brand Bible!
As a person who enjoys writing and taking notes I was looking for the perfect bible to journal in. I was a little nervous because I didn't take into consideration "LARGE PRINT" I wanted a bible that I could carry around with me. I also read the reviews of people receiving theirs damaged, pages not being thick enough etc. While the bible is THICK and has some weight to it I LOVE IT!!!!! Beautiful Bible! Worth the cost! It is bigger than I was expecting but it's perfect for a note taker. Lots of space to put your thoughts, highlight and more. Very happy with this purchase!
Love it! My 51 year old eyes like the larger print. I also enjoy personalizing it with a wood burner, i.e., burning into the leather books, chapter, and verse. My children will be fighting over this one when I'm gone.
Based upon the description and the price point I was expecting a high quality leather. Unfortunately, what I received was not that. I like the Bible format and construction is great but was pretty disappointed in the leather. Was so excited for this but ended up being super bummed.
